As today’s the last day of 2014, I thought it would be fun to take a look at my five most popular blog posts of the year.
In this post, I talk about five of my favorite pieces of gear. When I wrote the post way back in September, I loved Pearl Izumi socks, my Headsweats visor, my Garmin 220, my Xterra wetsuit, and my Safer Swimmer float.
I kicked off my string of Blogmas posts with a look at my year in running, talking about my best race experience, my best run, my best new piece of gear, and some other good stuff. Take a look if you haven’t already!
Basically, the fact that this post makes the top five indicates that the Internet loves dorky pictures of me.
Thanks to a retweet from @GotChocoMilk, this post, which talks about all the deliciousness and recovery-helpfulness (I can invent words here, it’s my blog!) of chocolate milk, is my second most popular post of the year. Even better – thanks to this blog post, several people recommended that I try Happy Cow chocolate milk. It’s the best of the best!
I’m really happy that this post took top honors! My Christmas trip to the beach was absolutely amazing, and I’m glad I got a chance to share it with my readers!
That’s it for 2014! Tomorrow brings a New Year and lots of new, exciting things for the blog.
