Asheville Half Marathon / Raleigh 70.3 Training Week 4 Recap

It’s Monday, which means it’s time to see how last week’s training went. Last week was a step back week with reduced training to give my body a chance to recover a bit before ramping up the training some more. Here’s how the half marathon / 70.3 training week 4 went:

Monday: Running speedwork with 6x400s for a total of 4.95 miles

Tuesday: Bike/run brick with 16.5 miles on the bike and a 1.43 mile run

Wednesday: 6 mile run

Thursday: off

Friday: power intervals on the bike, for 16.7 miles

Saturday: 16.3 miles on the bike, 1800 yard swim

Sunday: 1500 yard swim

 

Weekly Totals:

Swim: 3300 yards

Bike: 49.5 miles

Run: 12.4 miles

Total time: 6:24

  • I had awesome back to back long runs this weekend for 24.1 miles! Training for the challenge at Gasparilla in Tampa. Looks like you had a super week training! 🙂
